Stowhill Estates Buckinghamshire is a boutique estate agency founded by David Rhodes and Sara Alston, selling premium homes across Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, and Amersham. We take on a small number of properties at a time so each home, and each client, gets our full attention.

We work across South Buckinghamshire and the Thames Valley, with a particular focus on Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, and Amersham. We also handle properties in the surrounding villages, including Marlow Bottom, Bisham, Cookham, Lower Shiplake, and the Chalfonts.

We specialise in unique, beautiful homes, typically priced from £1 million upwards. That includes period properties, riverside homes, country houses, contemporary architect-designed homes, and listed buildings that need a more careful kind of marketing than a high street agent can offer.

Three things, mostly. We deliberately keep the number of properties on our books small, so each one gets full marketing attention rather than being one of forty on a window display. David handles every sales progression personally, end to end, rather than passing it to a centralised back office. And we price properties carefully after meeting you, rather than over-quoting to win the instruction and then asking for reductions later.

It depends on price band, property type, and the market at the time, but most premium homes in our area complete within 12 to 16 weeks of going to market. Our role is to make sure the timeline is honest from day one and that the buyer we accept actually completes.
